Cabin Design 3
This will make for the quintessential log cabin in the mountains. This is a 936 sq.ft. log cabin with its open great room feel with a fireplace and a nice amount of glass will be just right to take avantage of the perfect snow capped mountain views in Forbes Park, Colorado. With its one bedroom one bath up, and a possible one bed one bath and recreation room down, will make for a very nice place for family and friends to spend quality time in the Rockie’s of Colorado.

Winter Roost Box Building Plans
You can help birds survive the coldest days of winter, by providing a winter roost box. You’ll need wood…I like rough-sawn cedar…dowel rod, glue, nails, and wood screws. Following the instructions, carefully measure and cut out the six pieces. Drill a 12-inch diameter hole in the front piece of the house, near the bottom. Use the rough side of the wood for the inside of the box or drill four holes into, but not through, the wood…and insert perches. Since heat rises, the entrance hole at the bottom means the box will stay warm. And when spring finally comes, rotate the front to convert it into a bluebird house!
