ESRI 2010 Mashup Contest – Floor Plan Mapping

This ESRI mashup combines various data sources such as an ESRI ArcGIS Dynamic Map Service hosted in the Cloud (floor plans), ESRI’s Topographic based map, hosted via arcgisonlne.com, and Google Maps Satellite Base Map. Although this mashup specifically target office floor plan mapping, the mashup can be applied to numerous other areas such as facilities management, shopping mall navigation, cemetery mapping, etc. The development technology behind this mashup (PHP, JavaScript, XML, HTML) allow for rendering of this mashup via mobile technologies (iPhone, Blackberry, etc). This mashup endeavors to provide a generic framework for developing quick applications using the ArcGIS JavaScript Extension for Google Maps API.
