Hi. Are you using a 4-way view so that you can see left, front, back and a camera view. You should be able to see you object from side on to position it in the correct place. Another way is to use the numerical position dialogue which has the labels: X,Y,Z.
I do not know of a way to make interactions between objects just yet, for example: when an object rests on the surface of another.

This is gonna sound stupid… but I recently got that program, and when I put furniture in mine, it always sinks into the floor. It won’t rest on top. Do you have any helpful hints on that?? I’m desperate…

Try using a higher frame rate though when you render next time.
Also, you know you can animate that TV screen by using the video texture plugin? (Just go to the scripts and plugin manager… it’s in the tools menu… from there you can download tons of great plugins, my personal favorites being the polymesh and the video texture plugins.)
