where do i get free home floor plans?

Well, complete plans are probably going to cost you some bucks. But if you’re just playin’ around and would like to see some ideas, there are some really cool sites out there that show the basic floor plans and exterior art. Check ‘em out…

(I like to enter large square footages and lots of rooms. HEY, I can dream, can’t I?)

I want to make my own floor plans up for my new log cabin home. But I can find any thing help?

I just want an empty blue-print, or floor plan that I can fill in with my measurment, sink walls, ect

Any Computer Aided Drafting program will give you a tutorial on how to draw blue prints.

They sell em at any software store and probably hardware stores too.

A program called "AutoSketch 9" is a very good program
Just Yahoo! search it and somthing should come up

Just follow the tutorials

I’m trying to find a home plan site that has mid-century modern style home plans. Anyone know any?

I’ve searched and searched, but I keep getting vintage books on mid-century modern Home Plans. I’m looking to build a home and I need a home plan that is more recent than that to give to the contractors. As long as the plan loox mid-century modern; tons of windows in the front and lots of open space inside. Any help would be appreciated, thanx.

Not sure if they could help but their homes are breathtaking.
I think they build the home frame at their site then ship it in parts. (like extreme home make over does)
http://re4a.com/?t=3&c=0 click on project filters to see some homes they are working on and some homes they have finished.

Is there a free program i can access to turn house plans into 3D?

I am building my first house and have been given the plans but would love to see what it looks like in 3D. We are unable to go to a display home as we have altered the plans significantly. Any advice would be fantastic! Thanks in advance.
